Helsby High School is our home venue and hosts the majority of our team’s home fixtures as a well as our summer training sessions. The site is a high school and as such a private facility located approximately one and a half miles from Frodsham High Street on the A56 Chester Road between Frodsham and Helsby.

- 2 x 9-a-side grass pitches
- 1 x full sized 3G pitch and changing pavilion
Several areas for numerous 7 and 5-a-side pitches to be coned out
Changing Facilities
There are changing facilities on site in our changing pavilion, however we recommend that you confirm with the home team manager that these will be open on match day.
Parking
The site has a car park with over 120 spaces. All Vehicles are parked at their owner’s risk.

The site has disabled access.

Strictly no dogs
Helsby High School is a school site and as such a private facility so dogs are strictly forbidden. If you bring a dog on site, you will be asked to remove it!
Strictly no smoking
Helsby High School is a school site and as such a private facility so smoking or vaping on site is strictly forbidden. If you smoke or vape on site, you will be asked to put it out!
Please use the bins provided
Bins are located near to the School buildings. Please keep the site tidy.
No cars on the grass
Please use the allocated parking there are over 120 spaces. All Vehicles are parked at their owner’s risk.
No bikes on the grass
Please do not bring cycles on to the grassed area.

Situated at our home venue; Helsby High School, the 3G pitch and changing pavilion were opened in October 2021.
The site is a high school and as such a private facility located approximately one and a half miles from Frodsham High Street on the A56 Chester Road between Frodsham and Helsby. The 3G pitch and changing pavilion are situated behind the school buildings at the other end of the side from the main car park.

Changing Pavilion
- 2 x squad changing rooms with toilets and showers
- 1 x match officials changing room with toilet and shower

We recommend that you confirm with the home team manager that these will be open on match day.
3G footwear
This footwear guidance illustrates which boots are permitted to be used on the new 3G pitch and which are not:
PERMITTED FOOTWEAR:
Artificial Ground (AG)
RECOMMENDED
Specifically designed for extra abrasion, these boots usually feature more numerous and densely concentrated studs that vary in height and may be hollowed out.
Hard Ground (HG)
RECOMMENDED
Sole plates utilise a harder Thermoplastic polyurethanes compound for enhanced durability and typically feature multiple slightly shorter, evenly dispersed studs for optimal pressure distribution.
Firm Ground (FG)
RECOMMENDED
Sole plates feature moulded studs which are evenly dispersed across the foot to offer enhanced traction and comfort.
Blades
PERMITTED
Sole plates feature multiple straight slightly shorter, evenly dispersed studs that can restrict movement.
FORBIDDEN FOOTWEAR:
Soft Ground (SG)
TEAR THE SURFACE
Sole features removable, replaceable screw-in studs and typically come in a six-stud configuration, with four at the forefoot and two at the heel.
Turf Trainer (TF)
SLIPPERY WHEN WET
Otherwise known as Astro’s, they feature a solid rubber outsole with numerous, small multidirectional lugs spread across the sole, which offer limited grip in wet conditions.
Soft Ground Pro (SGP)
TEAR THE SURFACE
Also known as Hybrid or Mixed Stud, the sole plate comprises of a combination of conical screw-in studs and moulded studs, which are most commonly bladed.
Flat Sole (Indoor)
NO GRIP & FLATTEN SURFACE
Sole made up of non-marking materials such as moulded gum

Match day café
Our match day café will be open on most weekends serving teas, coffees and snacks.
Parking
Parking for the 3G facility is the main car park, situated at the opposite end of the school with over 120 spaces. Do not attempt to drive down the access road to the 3G facility, please park in the main car park and walk down the access road. All Vehicles are parked at their owner’s risk.
Disabled Access
The site has disabled access, only blue badge holders can use the school access road to access the 3G facility.

Saltworks Farm is a local authority owned public playing field located approximately one mile from Frodsham High Street in a residential area to the north of Frodsham.
