SISTER CLUB:
Welcome. Your child has joined a very special club, with a long history and a bright future.
Our mission is: To be the football club of choice providing local boys and girls with a range of footballing opportunities which develop young people mentally, physically, technically and socially, in a fun, safe, supportive and positive environment.
At Frodsham JFC we put your child’s wellbeing first and foremost and we hope that with us they will develop a life-long love of the game and have a long and enjoyable playing career with us.
We pride ourselves on being a FA Charter Standard Community Club and being part of the FA’s Club Programme demonstrating that we offer well-run sustainable football, prioritise qualified coaching and safeguarding, along with upholding the values of The FA’s Respect Campaign in all we do.
We are a family club with generations of the same families playing and coaching with us.
Would you like to get involved with the running of our Club?
We have hundreds of wonderful volunteers and our Club could not function without them. If you would be interested in getting involved simply complete our Become a Volunteer form and we will be in touch. Everyone involved in our Club is a volunteer and there are loads of roles both coaching and non coaching – you may even be perfect for a role which does not exist yet.
Would you like to become a Club Sponsor?
Our Club could not function without the fantastic support and contributions given by our generous sponsors. Private sponsorship is a major source of funding for us and we achieve so much more as a Club because of it. There are a multitude of sponsorship opportunities across our Club including shirt sponsorship, if you would be interested in supporting us simply complete our Become a Sponsor form.
FAQs?
If you have any questions about our Club and how it is run visit our FAQs page, you can also contact any of our Club’s Executive Committee.
What does the Club expected of you?
As a result of our values, we expect all adults associated with our Club to conduct themselves in a manner befitting the FA’s Respect Campaign and take any complaints of misbehaviour very seriously.
Please read our Code of Conduct so you are aware of what we expect – these are the behaviours we expect of everyone associated with Frodsham JFC.
Who do I speak to if I have a problem?
If you do not feel able to speak to your team manager or coaches you are welcome to contact anyone on the Club’s Executive Committee.
Peter Russell is our Club’s Child Welfare Officer, contact details for Peter can be found on the Executive Committee page. If you would like to report an issue to some one outside of our Club visit our Reporting Concerns page.
Other organisations who can help if you have any concerns
The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre. CEOP works with safeguarding and child protection partners across the UK and overseas. It protects children from harm online and offline with a focus on child sexual exploitation and online protection issues.
If you work with children and young people or are a parent and want to know more about keeping children safe online, you can use CEOP’s Thinkuknow education resources. If you are worried that someone has acted inappropriately towards your child or another child you may know or work with, you can report this. This may include things like sexualised chat, being asked to meet up, or being asked to do something that made the child feel uncomfortable. Any member of the public – whether a child, parent or professional – can report a concern about child sexual abuse or online exploitation to the CEOP safety centre. All reports are assessed and responded to by CEOP’s specialist Child Protection Advisors. If a police response is necessary, it would be conducted in partnership with your local police force. Please remember that if a child or young person is in immediate danger then always call 999.
We wish your child a very long and successful playing career with us!
