
Tommy Smith
Former Frodsham player Tommy Smith joined Stoke City in 2019 having captained Huddersfield Town during their promotion-winning season from the Championship then during their two-year stay in the Premier League.
Right back Smith, had joined Huddersfield from Manchester City having spent six years in the City academy, following fours years at youth level with Tranmere Rovers.

George Waring
Striker George Waring, joined the Everton academy in 2011 having previously represented Frodsham JFC. In 2013, George moved to Stoke City and subsequently had a series of loan moves with league clubs including; Barnsley, Oxford United and Shrewsbury Town before returning to Tranmere on a permanent basis in 2017.
Further loan moves to Halifax and Kidderminster Harriers followed before a permanent move in 2019 to Chester City.

Sophie Ecclestone
England cricketer Sophie Ecclestone played in the red and black of Frodsham in her formative years, but these days is a professional cricketer and has been a regular in the England team since 2016.
Sophie was awarded a full central contract by the ECB in 2019 and is a specialist spin bowler representing England across all formats of the game.
