We are delighted to welcome you to our new Club Website
After many months (probably years) of planning, discussing, writing, designing, coding and testing we are delighted to go live with this site which we believe now matches our Club’s aspiration to be one of the best grassroots football clubs in Cheshire.
We know that making the website better than before is not simply about giving it a new look, but about focusing on what our players, parents, sponsors and supporters need.
So what’s in the new website?
Firstly we think it looks great and the intuitive navigation will help you find your way around with ease. It is also fully responsive with mobile devices.
We have introduced a whole host of new content including background information on our Club, its history, its governance, its accreditations as well as a dedicated news section which will be updated regularly.
Safeguarding and Child Welfare is at the heart of our Club’s activities, as such the site has it own Safeguarding section, which sets out our expectations and policies alongside tips, advice and who to contact should you have any concerns.
Our players join our Club to be part of a team and to play football, with this in mind we have a dedicated teams section with a page for every team – these are managed and updated by our team managers and where available incorporate FA feeds for fixtures, results and league tables meaning these are updated automatically.
Our Club continues to improve the facilities we offer to our players and visiting teams, especially with the future development of the 3G pitch at Helsby High School. To support these activities we have incorporated a dedicated facilities section on the new site. In addition we now also have full training schedules listed for both winter and summer.
We also for the first time have an online Club shop for all your Frodsham JFC merch’ as well as dedicated portals for Players, Parents and Coaches.
But what we are really excited about is…
There are a few features of our new site which we are really excited about and believe will be game changers for us as a Club.
Online Player Registration: For the first time in our Club’s history we are moving to an online, paperless registration process, which we believe will make things much easier and secure for you our members and a much simpler process for us to administer as a Club.
Monthly Subscriptions: One of the major advantages of the digital registration process is that it provides the opportunity for subscription fees to be paid monthly over a ten month period, (there is still the to option to pay in one lump sum) but there will be no more cheques or cash to be handed over in the car park after training!
Match Centre: We are a football club so love nothing more than match day. Our new Match Centre feature, displays all home fixtures for the coming weekend including venue, pitch and opponents, so as well as knowing where you need to be you will also know who is playing on the pitch next to you.
What happens next?
We will continue to develop and improve the website, including adding video content, to provide you with all of the information you need about our Club.
We’re really proud of the new website and we hope you are too.
