ALL FOOTBALL ACTIVITY SUSPENDED
ALL FOOTBALL SUSPENDED: 5 NOVEMBER – 2 DECEMBER.
In line with the UK Government’s Announcement on New National Covid-19 Restrictions, Frodsham Junior Football Club has suspended all football activity from Thursday 5 November – 2 December. (Return subject to Government guidance at that time).
This includes all matches (both competitive and friendly) as well as all team training sessions including our Academy and SSE Wildcats sessions.
In addition, the Mid-Cheshire Youth Football league has suspended all leagues until January 2021 in the hope that clubs will be able to return to training in December ahead of a January resumption.
This obviously comes as a blow to all Club members, but as you will be aware these restrictions apply throughout England, with the rest of the UK also facing varying degrees of lockdown.
As this is an ever-changing situation, we will post any further updates as and when they arise on this website.
For your reference we have shared both the FA’s and Mid-Cheshire Youth Football League statements below.
Stay safe all.

Mid-Cheshire Youth Football League Statement:
In light of the impending lock down and the recent statement issued by both The FA and CCFA, we have discussed this and decided that we will suspend all league fixtures during the lock down period and hope to see these fixtures restart in January. (Although this will be dependent on the guidance at that time).
I would like to thank you all for your continued efforts to ensure that grassroots football takes place, and know that we will all work hard to restart the league fixtures as soon as we are safe and ready to do so.
